About Us

Inspired Carers is based in Shepparton and supports parents and carers whose children have a variety of additional care needs, including chronic and life threatening illness, physical, intellectual, neurological, behavioural and developmental delay concerns or if your child is going through diagnosis.

We deliver a variety of supports and programs which have benefited parents and carers in our community since 1989.

  • That anything you say will be treated as confidential
  • That if the Coordinator cannot assist you, you will be referred to someone who can

Learn more about the Victorian Disability Worker Commission and how they work to create a safer, stronger disability sector in Victoria in Shepparton on March 7th.

The Victorian Disability Worker Commission is an independent body established to reduce abuse and neglect and improve the quality of support and service for people with disability in Victoria. The VDWC regulates all disability workers in Victoria regardless of how they are funded.

This free forum hosted by the VDWC and led by Commissioner Dan Stubbs will provide attendees with information on our different functions – a free and independent complaints service, mandatory notifications, and disability worker registration. There will be the opportunity to ask questions to better understand how
to make a complaint, register and to provide feedback to the Commission. Morning tea will be provided after which will also give attendees an opportunity to ask further questions and raise issues with Commission staff.

Liz would love to see you in Benalla at a Chit Chat in 2024. These are casual opportunities to come and meet others and get any information which may assist you and your family, they are a perfect chance to hear what other families are doing.
