For over 30 years we have supported parents, carers and families across the Goulburn Valley and beyond.
History
Inspired Carers (formerly Goulburn Valley Support Group for Children with Special Needs. Inc.) was established in 1989, by concerned parents, as a result of families continually seeking information and advice on many types of disability and chronic illness, but constantly finding that this part of regional Victoria had little to offer them in the way of child disability services or support networks.
Since our incorporation in 2001, our organisation has grown in service delivery area and the number of families we support.
Inspired Carers is an independent, not for profit charity based organisation which focuses on providing services for parents / carers who have a child with a disability, additional care needs or chronic illness aged 0 to 21 years.

If you are interested in joining or supporting our Committee of Management we would love to hear from you. Our Committee is only as strong as the diversity of its members. We meet bi-monthly and utilise technology for those who can’t be physically present. To find out more please contact us.
